Having a tough time and living on the edge, Flora is constantly arguing with her son, Max.  Ian, a lazy failed musician and her ex-husband is no help.  Flora just wants to escape.  

Finding a guitar in a skip, she gives it to Max as an attempt to make up. But only interested in making beats, he doesn’t want it. Deciding to take up the guitar herself she gets lessons from Jeff online. A handsome, grounded, guy from LA, Jeff thinks she’s mental. She thinks he’s sexy. Through him she starts to see that there may be a new way forward - and perhaps the escape she has been longing for.
