In a small fishermanâs cottage at the foothills of Mount Lurigethan Northern Ireland, we find Cathal McNaughton, aged 42. Only two years previous he became the first and only person on the island of Ireland to win the prestigious Pulitzer Prize for photojournalism.
Through this intimate narrative film, we learn of his courageous work in the field in some of the worldâs most harrowing trouble spots. His photographs bring to life the stories of the characters he was so passionate to tell; and his career long obsession of giving a voice to those that otherwise would not have one. We will come to learn why, at the top of his profession, he walked away from âthe best job in the worldâ.
